Vera Branam, 90, passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 9, 2017. She was born July 4, 1926 in Courtland, Kansas to Johnnie and Neda Riddle.
Vera retired from the Hobbs School District in 1983. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 56. She loved fishing and quilting.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Wheeler (Roy) of Tuscon, AZ and Bobby Lyall (Pete) of Sugar Land, TX; one brother, Clint Riddle of Oklahoma; two sisters, Thelma Sathoff and Petrovia Elrod both of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Ernie Wheeler (Mandi) of Texas, Terry Wheeler (Donna) of Arkansas, Jay Lyall (Kelly) of California, Chris Lyall (Lydia) of Texas and April Davis (Chris) of Texas, and nine great-grandchildren, Cutter Wheeler, Lynsey Wheeler, Allie Miles, Sydni Kimbell, Joseph Lyall, C. J. Lyall, Cory Lyall, Addison Davis and Avery Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Branam and three brothers.

Shirley, I was so sorry to hear about your mother, she was such a wonderful person as was your dad, they both were so kind to me as a kid growing up. I have thought about you so much over the years and even tried to find you, hate that it had to be under these circumstances.
