Barnie Kevin Freeman, 54, was born November 30, 1962 in Hobbs, NM to Barnie and Alice Freeman. He passed away on May 11, 2017.
Barnie was known as “the saddle man”, he sold tack and saddles mostly to enjoy visiting. He enjoyed taking children and grand-children to athletic activities, FFA and animals. Kevin’s family was his greatest joy.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Freeman, of Hobbs, NM; daughters, Jennifer Bristow (Patrick), Ciera Almaguer (Derik) and Jasmine Freeman all of Hobbs, NM; sons, Dakota Freeman (Chelsey) of Portales, NM, Adam Woods (Neshell) of Tucumcari, NM, Henry Freeman and Zamian Freeman of Hobbs, NM; 10 grandchildren, Austin, Jordan, Isaiah, Dylan, A.J., Bud, Carly, Jaida, Daxon, and Izayick aka “Blue Duck”; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barnie and Alice Freeman and his mother-in-law, Karen Burris.
