Benny Grayson,62, known to friends and loved ones as “Benny Ed”, passed away on January 2, 2018 at the age of 62.
Benny Ed was born on March 5, 1955 in Hobbs, NM. He graduated from Hobbs High School in 1973 and lived in Hobbs most of his life. He made his living in the oil and gas industry, holding many different positions with various companies throughout his career.
Benny was happiest when he was spending time with family and friends. He also loved the outdoors, hunting and horses. He was a true cowboy at heart. Benny liked to joke around with those he loved. It was impossible to be around him and not smile. He was a hard worker with a big heart and his sudden passing leaves a big void in many lives.
Benny was preceded in death by his father B. W. Grayson.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia Grayson; loving wife Kathy Grayson; sons, Dustin Grayson and Jason and wife Dana Grayson; stepson, Preston Davis and wife Megan; stepdaughter, Sarah and husband Adam and their daughter Avii; sister, Virginia Dale Fisher, and brother-in-law, Bob Fisher; grandchildren, Ethan, Logan and Cole Grayson, and many nephews and nieces.
