Funeral services for Martha C. Seigman, 78 of Hobbs, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012, at Chapel of Hope with Pastor Elio Barrios officiating. Interment will be at Prairie Haven Memorial Park following services. Visitation will be 2 – 6 p.m. Thursday, May, 31, 2012, and Friday 8 until service time at Chapel of Hope, 3321 N. Dal Paso, Hobbs, NM. Martha died May 27, 2012, at her home in Hobbs. She was born August 22, 1933, in Carlsbad, NM, to G. Ira and Mary O. Scott.

Martha enjoyed gardening, flowers and vegetables, her favorite being roses, gladiola and iris. She had been employed by Town and Country and Circle K and had a newspaper route.

Surviving Martha are three sons, Ira Keith Hinkle, and wife Cathy, Myles Hinkle, and wife Patsy, and Jerry Hinkle, and wife Sharon; a daughter, Donna Patterson, and husband Randal; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; step-children, Larry Seigman, and wife Becky, and Gene Seigman, and wife Judy; three step grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Millar, Marilyn Morgan and Barbara Taylor; brother, Jesse Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Thomas and J. D. Scott; first husband, Kenneth L. Hinkle and second husband, Austin K. Seigman.
