Memorial services for Wynona “Nona” Skaggs will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Chapel of Hope officiated by Elio Barrios. Wynona died May 31, 2012, at Lea Regional Hospital in Hobbs. She was born January 27, 1936, in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico, to Hollis and Thelma Price.

Nona enjoyed fishing, bowling, ceramics, crocheting and bingo; and she was a great cook. Her family and friends were her greatest enjoyment. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Nona are three sons, Jerry Atwater, and wife Kimberly, of Alamogordo, NM, Willie Rogers, and wife Leigh Anne, of Hobbs and Terry Rogers, and wife Karen, of Alamogordo, NM; two daughters, Cindy Westerman of Hobbs and Patty Rogers Manasco, and husband Stephen, of Clovis, NM; a brother, Wayland Price of Clovis, NM; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy Price; sister, Doris Greene; and grandson, Jason Ray Westerman.
