Graveside services for Dorothy L. Langley, 89, of Hobbs, will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Brunson Cemetery in Eunice officiated by Larry Langley. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m. on Monday, July 30, at Chapel of Hope. Dorothy died July 25, 2012, at her home in Hobbs. She was born January 25, 1923, in Barnsdall, OK, to Ellis and Gladys Garrison. Dorothy married Hob Langley July 19, 1948, in Eunice. She was an active member of First Baptist Church.
Dorothy enjoyed art and painting. She was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union. Her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy.
Surviving Dorothy is her daughter, Linda McCasland, and husband Pat, of Eunice; sons, Rick Langley, and wife Lynnie, of Snyder, TX, and Larry Langley of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, John Lane, Jennifer and Royce Gould, Matt McCasland, Eric and Bridget McCasland, Wendy and Nick Veach, Lynnzi and Cody Crow, and Blaine Nappier; great-grandchildren, Kyra, Madison, Adan, Hunter, Maddox, Mira, Roycee, Devyn, Cora and Jerdis; a sister, Delores Martin, of Odessa, TX; numerious nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding her in death was her husband, parents, sister, Doris Foster, and brother, Dewey Garrison.
