Funeral services for Robert Dilworth, 81, of Hobbs, will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Jefferson St. Church of Christ with Minister Clay Martin officiating. Visitation will be 8 a.m. 6 p.m. Monday, February 11 at Chapel of Hope with the family being in attendance from 4 6 p.m. Interment will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery after services. Robert died February 6, 2013, in Lubbock. He was born September 4, 1931, in Clarksville, TX, to Clay and Mentha Dilworth. He married Bobbie Dilworth January 21, 1950, in Hobbs. She died July 4, 1987. Robert was a member of Jefferson St. Church of Christ. Surviving Robert is his brother, Billy Don of Alamogordo, NM 4 sisters, Christine Smith and Juanita Dilworth, both of Alamogordo, Myrtle Thornton of Hemet, CA, and Lou Setta, and husband Alford, of Moreno Valley, CA 2 sons, Gary Dilworth of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mark Dilworth of Austin TX 2 daughters, Debra Crusoe of Memphis, TN, and Lynn Jackson of Abilene, TX grandchildren, Cory Crusoe, CaSaundra Johnson, Courtney Jackson, Kirk Jackson, Rebekah Crusoe, Camile Metters, Brittney Crusoe, Adam Dilworth, Robert Dilworth, Amariss Dilworth, Adrian Dilworth, Kanessia, Devon, Diamonte, Ariana, Kelton, Kelyn, Kyndon and special friends, Linda Bell and Broderick Hawkins. Preceeding him in death were his brothers, J. D, ODell and Clay, Jr. wife, Bobbie and son, Stephen Dilworth.
