He was born on November 6, 1936 in Alpine, TX. He married the love of his life on November 8, 1959 and moved his family to Hobbs, NM in 1961. He was a strong, faithful and hard-working father and husband. He was the best example to his children in teaching them to live their lives with honesty, integrity and dignity. His work ethic was second to none and his typical greeting to his sons and grandsons his ''How's work mijo?'' He showed true dedication to the people he worked for; serving 30+ years at Pumping Unit Services, owner Marion Hightower and after retiring from Pumping Units went to work for Jeff Hamilton at K&S for 18 years. What brought him joy were hunting, fishing, gardening, cook-out's every Friday for the family and working with copper in his spare time. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a 4th degree member of Knights of Columbus. His legacy will live on through his children with family gatherings of Christmas traditions, such as Santa visiting all the kids on Christmas Eve; he anxiously awaited hunting trips with ''his boys''; making tamales with his bride and his children every November; and the traditional fish fry on Good Friday were only a few. He created a special bond amongst all.

He had many nicknames given to him by close friends and co-workers, a few were ''TR'', ''Tranpa'' or ''The Transmitter''. He made an impact on many lives, welcomed all into his home and took many as his own. He will be deeply missed by many.
