Ginger and all your family, You probably don't remember me, but I lived down the street on Coleman on Hollis. Your Mother was a very precious woman and took such good care of me when one of your dogs bit me on the lip. (I was eating a cookie and guest she wanted a bite) I ended up with 7 stitches. I can only imagine how that affected your Mom. Everything turned out well, no big scar and the dog was fine too.
I've been trying to find out how to contact you since Sherri passed, I was so shocked and so very sorry for your double losses of she and your Mom.
Sherri and I were in a talent show at Heizer Jr High doing acrobats. That was fun, then we had a scare when a strange man tried to pick us up walking to the shopping center. God watched over us and kept us safe.
Sherri was a special friend, even tho we didn't not keep in touch in later years. She had been on my mind for some time and didn't know how to get hold of her.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God bless you, keep you, comfort you and give you peace.
    Your friend, Joy Simmons Burke
