My heart is sad tonight as I read of my dear friend, Connie. She was one of the dearest people and also her husband. She took such good care of my daughter, Peggy at the girls group home in Artesia so many years ago. She and Lee would take her home with them at times and I never worried about her being there because they were good people and loved her as much as she loved them. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the funeral but I will be praying for all the family as they say goodbye. My life has certainly been blessed by having known this family. May God bring sweet peace to your hearts.
