alignjustifyFuneral services for Abel Trevino of Hobbs, NM, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Hobbs First Assembly with Pastor Ernie Eidson officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

alignjustifyA prayer services is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Mr. Trevino, 55, died April 10, 2009, in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born October 1, 1953, in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He married Betty Cortez on April 5, 1974, in Lovington, New Mexico.

alignjustifyAbel was a 1972 graduate of Hobbs High School. He had worked in grocery stores. Abel loved his family and was greatly loved by all of his family. He was a member of Hobbs First Assembly.

alignjustifySurvivors include his wife, Betty Trevino of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a son, Eric Trevino of Kenai, Alaska; a daughter, Lori Trevino of Albuquerque; a brother, Henry Trevino of Lovington; two sisters, Evangelina Pando of Hobbs, and Corina Hernandez of Hobbs; seven grandchildren, Jasmine Tercero, Janessa Trevino, Jalisa Trevino, Janae Trevino, Elijah Trevino, Isaiah Trevino and Genesis Trevino; his father, Juan Trevino of Hobbs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

alignjustifyAbel was preceded in death by his mother, Epifania Ortega Trevino.
