Adolfo Baeza

August 6, 1962 — May 6, 2024

Hobbs

Adolfo Rodriguez Baeza came into this world on August 6, 1962, in Hobbs NM, born to Jacobo and Cruz Baeza. He was called home on May 6, 2024, where he was met by our Lord Jesus. Adolfo married Irene Campos in June of 1980 and had 3 beautiful children: Jennifer, Aaron and Adrian. On October 21, 1995, he married Stephanie Sanchez, the mother of his loving son, Fabian. On October 20, 2023, he married his current wife Yubani and welcomed her 3 children. Upon graduation from Hobbs High School in 1980, he pursued his career in the oil and gas industry.

He was known for being hard working, loyal, and very knowledgeable in his field of work. One coworker even mentioned "that man is one of the hardest workers I know”. Although Adolfo was a man of few words, the love he showed for others was everything he was on the inside. Adolfo's favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers and his favorite activities included riding his motorcycle, talking about hot rods, shooting a game of pool, and playing chess.  He also had a love for garage sales and would look for new treasures wherever he travelled. Adolfo loved spending time with his family in the mountains but the one thing he will be remembered for most was his love for hunting with his sons, brothers, nephews, and friends. He was a natural tracker and had a sniper's site earning him the nickname “Deadly”.

Adolfo was preceded in death by his father Jacobo Baeza, his favorite uncle Romolo Baiza as well as his loving 2nd wife Stephanie Sanchez. Adolfo is survived by his wife Yubani and her 3 children, his children Jennifer (The Princess), Aaron, Adrian, and Fabian, mother Cruz Baeza, sisters Linda Baeza, Mary Ann Montano (Refugio), Deborah Hunt (Warren), brothers Jake (Nancy), John (Beverly), Michael, David, Jamie (Jaime), grandchildren Jordan, Ciera, Cris and Jace, Kai, Kamila, Kristian, Kaylee, Nevaeh, Haley, AJ., great-grandchildren Joseph, Malikai, Renesmee, Noah, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed very much and we all look forward to seeing him again and hearing What's Going On!!
