Aide was so loved and cared for by her children and grandchildren. Aide was a wonderful woman that is cherished and will be missed by so many. Our “Mama” as she was called by her grandchildren, “Ama,” as she was called by her husband and kids, was an amazing wife, mom, and daughter. Among the many things she was great at was cooking. Aide cooked tamales for over 30 years and everyone who had a taste of them loved and couldn’t get enough of them. They couldn’t wait for her delicious tamales to be made. Cooking and feeding everyone was how she showed her love to everyone! Cooking was definitely her love language, and she was a wonderful cook.
Aide’s grandchildren were her heart, pride, and joy! Her children were her entire world. Anyone that knew her knew she valued her family and the precious moments they shared as she loved to capture them with pictures. She loved to show off her family and was proud of everything they did. She taught her kids to always be there for each other and to love each other through anything. Her kids lasting memory of their mom is a simple, hard-working, passionate figure of strength who’s love and support never diminished for her family and who soldiered on, even when times were tough. She enjoyed music, dancing, coffee and never turned down a good drink, or a get together with her kids. She also enjoyed being there for anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on, as she had many, many friends who turned to her in their time of need.
Aide’s story starts on January 18, 1964, as she was born to Catarino and Tomasa Navarrete. She was born in Coyame, Chihuahua. She was a resident of Jal for over 37 years and was very proud to be a Jal Panther Mom and Grandma supporting her kids and grandkids in anything they did, making sure they knew she was beyond proud of them.
Loved ones that cleared the path for her are her father and mother, Catarino and Tomasa Navarrete, and grandparents, Milquiades Ramirez and Micaela Navarrete. Loved ones that will miss Aide and until they meet again are her husband, Eduardo Arroyo, Her son and daughter-in-law Eduardo Jr. and Ginny Arroyo, daughter and son-in-law America and Nolberto Cervantes, daughter and son-in-law Aime and Miguel Sandoval, and daughter and son-in-law Anais and Randy Chavez. She will also be very missed by her seventeen grandchildren, Jarely, Ito, Sebastian and Evely Arroyo, Ulysses, Nolbertito and Makaylee Cervantes, Jocelyn, Makenzie, Mason, Miguel, Jacob, and Madelyn Arroyo-Sandoval, Elijah, Leilene, Charlie, and Harley Chavez.
On behalf of the Arroyo family, we would like to say thank you for your overwhelming love, support, prayers, messages and thoughts through this tough time in our life.
