Ansel Farris

Ansel Farris, 85, passed away peacefully with his family present on August 10, 2019. He was born in Lovington, NM on January 10, 1934 to Jesse and Wille Mae Farris.

Ansel was in the US Army and was stationed in Germany, where he met the love of his life, Ulla Baumgart. They married on June 7, 1958 and had three beautiful children in Germany. After a few years they moved to Lovington, NM where they would continue to raise their family.

Ansel always enjoyed playing golf and was a very hard-working dedicated employee. Ansel and Ulla loved to travel to different places early in their lives.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter; Diana Davis, three granddaughters; Shannon Flowers, Tamra Farris and Marinda Davis, two great grandsons; Austyn and Clatyn Kidd, sister; Susie Roberts and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, his wife; Ulla Farris and sons; Danny and Tommy Farris.
