Antonio Ruiz-Garcia, Sr.

Antonio “Chino” Ruiz Garcia Sr., 64 of Hobbs, Nm passed away on September 1, 2021, at Covenant Health Hospital.  He was born March 16, 1957, to Antonio Hernandez and Maria Ruiz Garcia in Juarez, Mexico.

He was married 44 years to Carolina Ruiz of Juarez, Mexico.  Antonio enjoyed spending most of his free time doing what he loved, working on cars.  He was a very happy man in his life, always joking around bringing a smile to anyone that would listen.  He was also a very caring and giving person to anyone who was in need.

Preceding him in death is his father Antonio Hernandez and mother Maria Ruiz Garcia.

Surviving him is his wife Carolina Ruiz of Hobbs NM, brother Armando and Carmen Ruiz of Hobbs, NM, sister Leticia Utajara of Hobbs, NM, daughter Jessica and Leo Hernandez of Hobbs, NM, son Antonio “Tony” Ruiz Jr of Lubbock, TX, granddaughter Brianna Bueno of Hobbs, NM, grandson Pete Bueno Jr. of Hobbs, NM, great-grandson X’avien Montoya and great-granddaughter Renesmee Bueno.
