Barbara Ford

Barbara Ford, 75, beloved Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Mother-in-law, Daughter-in-law, Great-grandmother, and Wife, was called to her eternal resting place on July 6, 2023. She entered this world on October 2, 1947 in Hobbs, NM, born to Frank and Frances Allen. She is survived by her son Micheal Ford and wife Isabel; daughter Marlena Bushway and husband Donald; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Ford and wife Monique, Eric Ford and wife Diana, Dallas Jenkins and husband Arthur, Randal Hall and wife Yesenia, Annedee Bushway, and Summer Bushway; 6 great-grandchildren Vince Ford, Vance Ford, Oliver Jenkins, Logan Jenkins, Paisley Jenkins, and Behr Hall; Brother Jack Allen and wife Bet, sister-in-law and best friend Barbara Williams and husband Richard, and sister-in-law Mary Ford; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-niece and nephews, cousins, other family, and friends. She is also survived by her beloved pooch Boogie.

Barbara had a love for family, games, and adventure! She was an avid bowler and was a team member on a local bowling league, many years with her mother Frances. Her and her late husband Wayne and in-laws Square danced for years together. She loved hunting trips with family, fishing, and 4-wheeling often. She loved playing games with her family, hosting family get-togethers, going on girls only weekend shopping trips, and winning family awards for her home-made "Schwann's" pies.

Her love for her family was always top priority and her generosity could never be surpassed. She spent the majority of her life devoted to her husband, kids, home, family, and friends. She left this world peacefully surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and other family members at her side.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Wayne of over 50 years, her parents Frank and Frances, her mother and father-in-law Luella and Arthur, her brother-in-law Eddy, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A family and friends gathering at the family home will be held at a later date.
