Barbara Glenn Bullock was welcomed into this world on December 31, 1936 in Floydada, Texas by her mother and father, Robert Cullen and Willie M. Bullock.

Barbara married the love of her life, Dan Gross, on June 11, 1955. The couple, along with their children, moved to Hobbs, New Mexico in 1969. Over her lifetime, Barbara spent many years devoting her time to caring for others. She took great pride in caring for her children, grandchildren, and even her great-grandchildren. Barbara’s family was her greatest treasure. Barbara and Dan enjoyed spending countless hours together tending to their prized flower and cactus gardens. She also adored traveling to the deserts of Arizona and observing all that the landscape had to offer.

Barbara passed away from her earthly home on the morning of May 9, 2022 at 85 years of age.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cullen and Willie M. Bullock, as well as her beloved husband, Dan Gross. Barbara is survived by her loving family, daughter Angie McConal of Lubbock, Texas; son, Steve Gross and wife, Karen of Wieser, Idaho; daughter, Linda Johnson of Hobbs, New Mexico; sister Sue Ward of Floydada, Texas; brother Jerry Bullock and wife, Barbara of Lubbock, Texas; sister Kay Hicks of Floydada, Texas; sister Jan and husband, Robert Lara of Lubbock, Texas; brother Robert and wife, Dawn Bullock of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Lindsey, Danielle, Desira, Chisholm, Abbey, and Dakota; ten great-grandchildren, Chloe, Sydnee, Jace, Kaden, Dean, Hadley, Baer, December, Everly, and Cora as well as many nieces and nephews.
