Barbara Sena

Barbara Elaine Treadwell Sena passed away on May 26, 2018 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Barbara was born on July 22, 1952 in Abilene, Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Winona and Maurice Treadwell and oldest brother, Charles Treadwell.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Fabian, her children, Matthew, Jonathan, and Elaine, her daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Valeria, her sister, Jeannie Davis and husband Richard, her brother, Don Treadwell and wife Kathy, and their children.

Born the daughter of missionaries, Barbara's first language was Portuguese. She spent numerous years of her life in Brazil and Panama and graduated from Balboa High School in Panama. She served in the ministry alongside her husband for 43 years. Barbara was a pastor, teacher, author, mom, wife, friend, and mentor to many. As such, words cannot describe how much she will be missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Kings Gate Church/Centro Victoria with Pastor Coy Barker officiating followed by graveside memorial at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, Hobbs, NM.

Those desiring to honor Barbara's memory are welcome to make a memorial donation in her name to Victory Center Christian Academy, the beloved child care center and school she founded in August of 2000.
