Betty Rose Cooper went home to be with her Lord on August 21, 2019 at the age of 88. She was born on January 6, 1931 in Indiahoma, Oklahoma. She later attended college and rodeoed at Cameron University where she met and married Dale “Tuffy” Cooper in 1950 and was married for 63 years until his passing. They would settle and ranch for 69 years the Cooper Ranch in Monument, New Mexico. She loved her family, ranching and outdoors. She was a very special person to all her family and was kind, honest, and hard working. Anybody who met her knew what a special person she was.
She has two sons; Roy Dale of Decatur, Texas and Clay Tom of Hobbs, New Mexico, daughters-in-law; Kena Kay of Hobbs and Lisa Seed of Decatur, Texas, son-in-law Rip Ratliff and wife Elizabeth of Moore, Oklahoma, brother and sister-in-law; Jim and Betty Baum Cooper of Monument, New Mexico.
Betty Rose is also survived by five grandsons; Clint and wife Amber of Decatur, Collin of Monument, Cliff and wife Terryn of Decatur, Tuf and wife Tiffany of Decatur, Cooper T. and wife Kennedi of Durant, four great-grandchildren; Casen, Ceattle Rose, Canden of Decatur and Kipralee Gale Cooper of Hobbs.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dale “Tuffy” Cooper in 2013, her parents; Whit Hadley and Johnny Hadley-Ferguson, two brothers; Morris and Tom, daughter; Betty Gayle Ratliff and great-granddaughter; Casly Faith.
