Betty Johnson

Betty Sue (Cole) Johnson went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 21, 2019. She was surrounded by her friends and family as she made her way to happier and healthier days. Betty Sue came into this world on September 3, 1939 to Cornell Ambrose Cole and Clara Elizabeth Cole in Loving, New Mexico.

Ms. Betty, as she was affectionately known, loved watching Catholic Church services and game shows, crocheting, and her little dog Angel. She worked many years at Staples, making many friends.

Betty was preceded in death by husband, Richard Johnson; son, David Weatherford; 2 grandsons and her parents. She is survived by son, Terry and wife Pamela Weatherford of Monument, Colorado; son, Kenneth and wife Jennifer Weatherford of Hobbs, New Mexico; son, Jack and wife Teresa Weatherford of Hobbs, New Mexico; brother, Cornell (Brother) Cole of Phoenix, Arizona; brother, Danny and Virginia Cole of Venus, Texas. She was blessed with many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
