Betty Woody

Betty L. Woody, 72, died Oct. 10, 2006, at her residence in Monument. She was born Dec. 20, 1933 in Shawnee, Okla. She married Bobby J. Woody on June 21, 1980 in Aransas Pass, Texas. Betty was an extremely loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She loved old country and Western music, dancing and God.

Survivors included two daughters, Donna and husshy;band Mike Cox of Monument, N.M. and Windi Lee of Rockport, Texas; three sons, Michael and wife Marilyn Holt of Dripping Springs, Texas, Eddie and wife, Wilma Holt of Mogadore, Ohio; and Ronnie Woody of Rockport, Texas; a sister, Sue and husshy;band Hugh Couch of Monument, N.M.; 16 grandshy;children; and 15 great-grandshy;children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. Woody in February 1988; her parents, Bill and Atoma Paite; a son, Billy Holt Sr.; and a sisshy;ter, Mary Bateman.
