Billy Wade Moore, age 89 of Hobbs, NM, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was born on June 27, 1937, in Dawson County, Tx, to parents Willard and Frances Moore.

He married his beloved wife, Janie June 2, 1980. Together, they shared 46 wonderful years of marriage, building a home filled with love and laughter,

Bill is survived by his wife, Janie Moore; together they share 6 children, Cristy Pothoff of Austin and Melissa Moore (Trey Gonzales) of Austin, Billy Kay Fuentes (John) of San Angelo. Gary Kennedy (Patty) of Sturgis SD, Cody Kennedy (Mary) of Seminole. Shawna Campbell (Mac) of Granite Shoals.

13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10 am (NM time) at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church in Hobbs, NM burial will be at the Seagraves cemetery at 2 pm (NM time).
