Bobby Campbell

December 27, 1948 — May 17, 2019

Bobby Jack Campbell entered this life a blonde hair, bright blue-eyed baby boy on December 27, 1948 to Jack and Lee Campbell in Ballinger, TX. Bobby lived all of his 70 short years of life to the fullest. Every day was a celebration to him and we are going to miss him so much. From him singing his favorite songs and making silly words up to those he didn't know, to his one of a kind laugh and raspy voice, to his undying love for every one of his children and the love of his life, Diane, he will always be remembered as the life of the party.
Bobby was raised in Hobbs, NM and graduated in 1967. In 1968, he joined the Army at the age 20. Bobby met Diane in 1981 and together they raised six children. Throughout his life he worked as a carpenter, a skill that was passed on from his dad.
Mr. Campbell stepped into eternity in the early hours of May 17. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Lee Campbell. He leaves behind his beautiful wife Diane, whom he shared 38 wonderful years, one sister, Linda Bright of Odessa, TX, four sons; Jay Campbell of Montgomery, TX, Shawn Franks of Midland, TX, Telly Campbell of Hobbs, NM, Billy Campbell and wife Susan of Seminole, TX, 4 daughters; Jessica Hargrove and husband Jody of Lubbock, TX, Sonya Aguilar of Pasadena, TX, Jacki Campos and husband Mike of Hobbs, NM, Bethany Mediano of Hobbs, NM, 23 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, special friends; Crystal Gonzales and Isaiah Nichols amongst many, many other friends and last but not least, his two favorite fur babies, Kirby and Baby. Rest easy Bobby C, Triple O.G. We love you!
