Carita Greebon

Carita was born June 6, 1934 in Houston, Texas to Fred and Geraldine Brocke and passed away on January 17, 2019 in Hobbs.

After meeting at a branding on Charlcia Taylors ranch, she married Roy Greebon. Her husband's family were instrumental in founding First Baptist Church where Carita worked in the nursery for over twenty years. She was a great cook, enjoyed new recipes and visiting with friends.

Carita took pride in being a homemaker. Her greatest joy was her family.

Those who survive her are her son, Dalton Greebon and wife Trisha, of Hobbs; a daughter Dee Bedell and husband Hoppy of Santo, Texas; her grandchildren Cody Greebon and wife, Kristie, of Lovington; Casey Greebon and wife Amie of Seminole, Texas. Carita's Great grandchildren are Kira , Carlie, and Keeley Greebon of Lovington, and Cope, Azlyn , and Cres Greebon of Seminole, Texas.

Carita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy, and a sister Larita Pennington.
