Carolyn Green

Carolyn Jane Green, 75, of Jal NM joined her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. She was born June 20, 1943 to James O. and Mary Jane Cole in Pryor OK. She married Don W. Green (her one true love) on October 8, 1960 in Eunice NM. They lived all over Texas and New Mexico with Jal being their home for more than 45 years.

Carolyn was a homemaker for many years until she began working outside the home. She retired from Allsups where she was an assistant manager. She was a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician for the Jal ambulance service for many years. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron several times and was most recently the Grand Representative to Delaware. She travelled extensively throughout the United States visiting other OES Grand Chapters.

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family more than anything. Most of all, Carolyn was beloved by all who knew her.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Norreen, and her brother-in-law, Frank Raybon. She is survived by her husband, Don of Jal NM, daughter, Dianne Martin and husband Richard of Odessa TX, daughter, Debbie Stokes and husband Brian of Odessa TX, and daughter, Donna Volz and husband Hans of Las Cruces NM; sister Loreen Daniel of Jal NM; granddaughter, Nikki Springer and husband JT of Midland TX, and grandson, Zach Stokes and wife Kasey of Gardendale TX; great granddaughter, Hadley Springer and great grandson, Maverick Stokes; brother-in-law, Larry Green and wife Joyce of San Angelo TX, brother-in-law, Lynn Raybon and wife Deena of Breckenridge TX, sister-in-law, Janet Raybon of League City, TX, brother-in-law, Kenneth Raybon and wife Linda of Farmington NM. She is also survived by numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Order of the Eastern Star Eunice Chapter or the Salvation Army.
