Chong Kang

Chong Cha (Kitty) Kang, 80, was born November 17, 1935 in Mokpo, South Korea. She passed away in Hobbs on July 3, 2017.

She came to Hobbs in 1973, and was helped by the late James Murray, III and Judge Don Maddox to get established. She was very generous and was known as a little angel for her compassion and love for all she ever came in contact with. Her passion in life was her family, simple but grand love of life, that was shown through her daily care and compassion in all she ever did!

She is survived by her husband, Chang Hwan (Tommy) Kang; one son, KiMan Kang of Hawaii; a grandson, Simeon Kang of Alabama, and granddaughter Esther Kang of Monterey, CA.
