Cora Hicks

Cora Helen Hicks, 86 passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024, surrounded by family. She leaves behind her daughter Kim Savage and husband Tony, grandsons Justin White and his girlfriend Courtney, Richard Hicks and girlfriend Daneila, Johnny Hicks and Christopher Collier. Granddaughters Kristal Hicks and wife Megan, and Kamy Morgan. Great grandkids Kinley, Kamry, Benltey, Connor and Belinda

Her beloved dogs Precious, Honey and CoCo, oh how she loved her babies.

Helen was born in Lamesa Texas on February 7th, 1938, to James and Lala Chisum.

She married the love of her life Harold Hicks (Peanut) on February 10th, 1954, in Hobbs. They were Married 59 years before Peanuts passing.

Helen worked for the Hobbs Schools for several years and also Beals Department store for 15 years where she received several awards for being employee of the month.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Lala Chisum, husband Peanut, daughters Donna Sue and Linda Collier, and her son John Hicks.
