Cynthia Murphy

Services for Cynthia Anne Murphy, 53, of Hobbs, will be 10:00 am, Thursday, December 27, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Minister Clay Martin officiating. Cynthia died December 21, 2012 at her home in Hobbs, NM. She was born March 27, 1959 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Talmadge Kenneth and Janice Jean Murphy. Interment will be in Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cynthia was a graduate of Lubbock Christian University. She taught school in Texas for thirty years specializing in special education classes. Cynthia truly had a love of children. She was an active member of Jefferson Street Church of Christ.
Surviving Cynthia is her daughter, Tiffany Murphy of Longview, Texas her parents, Tally and Jan Murphy of Artesia brother Kenneth Murphy 11 and wife, Amy of Artesia sister, Kerrie Mitchell and husband, Eddie of Hobbs two nephews, Lee Mitchell and wife, Melissa of Hobbs and Cody Mitchell of Hobbs niece Amanda Murphy of Artesia and a great niece, Norah Mitchell of Hobbs.
