Dannye Kelley

Mr. Kelley, 95, died July 31, 2021, at Good Life Assisted Living.  He was born August 5, 1925, in Bokchito, Oklahoma.  Dannye was a Navy veteran of WWII and Korea and married Ann M. (Brackett) Kelley, July 25, 1953, in Durant, Okla.

Dannye retired from National Oilwell and Heap Equipment after several decades in the oilfield.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and raising game roosters.  His greatest joy in life was his family.  He was a member of the Bokchito Oklahoma Masonic Lodge.

Dannye was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Ann M. Kelley.    Survivors include; a son King Kelley and wife Anna of Artesia, NM; two daughters, Danella Alexander and husband Sammy of Hobbs, NM; and Sarah Ford of Norman, OK,:  six grandchildren Cory Smith, Chelsi Harper and husband Ricky, Jeremiah Keeler and wife Hallie, Nicole Mark and husband Cooper, Ben Kelley, Beau Kelley, and Brady Kelley; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Jo Harper, Kaden Smith, Chase Smith and Seth Smith; brother-in-law, Billy J. Jones; niece Sherry Young and husband Stephen Young; and many other family and friends.
