David Rogers

Funeral services for David C. Rogers, 52, of Hobbs, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Chapel of Hope officiated by Pastor Benny Greenlee. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation is 8:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. Friday at Chapel of Hope. David died February 24, 2013, in Lovington, NM. He was born April 5, 1960, to Melton and Shirley Rogers.

David was a lifelong resident of Hobbs and graduated from Hobbs High School. He worked in the Hobbs oilfields for 34 years.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Derrick of Hobbs his father, Melton Rogers of Dolan Springs, AZ son, David of Rio Rancho, NM daughter, Amber of Hobbs two brothers and two sisters and 6 grandchildren.
