In Loving Memory of Domingo Hinojos June 3, 1951 – June 8, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Domingo Hinojos, who left this world on June 8, 2026, at the age of 75.
Domingo was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose laughter and sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him. He had a gift for making people smile and could always be counted on to have something funny to say. Even through life’s challenges, he never lost his spark, his wit, or his ability to brighten someone’s day.
Domingo loved spending time outdoors. Whether he was deer hunting, camping under the stars, or enjoying long summer days on the boat at the lake, he found happiness in nature and adventure. He also enjoyed trying his luck at the casino and, in recent years, looked forward to playing bingo with the help of his daughter, creating memories they both cherished.
Above all else, Domingo loved his family. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. He rarely missed an opportunity to attend a ball game, cheering loudly from the stands and supporting his great-grandchildren with endless enthusiasm and love.
Domingo is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Hinojos, with whom he shared 58 wonderful years of marriage; his daughter, Rosemary Jacobo (Mauricio); his son, Domingo Hinojos Jr. (Bonnie); his brothers, Frank Hinojos, Mariano Hinojos, and Juan Hinojos; his sister, Alice Bustamante; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joann Hinojos Rodriguez; his brothers, Nestor Hinojos, and Manuel Hinojos; his sister-in-law, Socorro Hinojos; and his parents.
Domingo leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. His family will forever remember his jokes, his stories, his adventurous spirit, and the way he made every gathering a little brighter.
Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
