Donald Pruitt of Hobbs passed into the heavens at home on December I, 2025, at the age of 76.He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and passion for his family.Born to Myrtle Grace Sudduth and fathered by RG Sudduth, he grew up & spent his life in Hobbs New Mexico. Just coming out of school he served for the Army. He then spent his life working in the oilfield as a driller on the drilling rigs. He had a sense of humor that was as dry as the southeast plains of New Mexico but made.everyone chuckle once they understood the joke. He was known to travel and absolutely loved the casinos with luck almost always on his side, throwing a hook into the water to catch some fish. Aside from traveling, he enjoyed retirement at home with his family. Mr. Pruitt is survived by his sisters Linda Pietz and Carolyn Sudduth of Hobbs NM. His daughters, Angela Pruitt Busby her husband Weslie Busby and Marsha Pruitt of Hobbs, NM, his grandchildren Darien Pruitt of Las Cruces, Chase Butler of Hobbs, Ariana Calvillo of Hobbs and Reece Pedraza of Hobbs, his great grandchildren Amaya, Noah, and Amelia. His grandchildren and great grandchildren, was his heart. Many nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate the life of Donald Pruitt will be held at Chapel of Hope in Hobbs, NM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at IO AM.
