Don H. Wilkinson

Donald ‘Don’ H. Wilkinson passed away at 65 years of age on April 13, 2026, in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was born on May 3, 1960, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He moved to Alamogordo, NM as a child and lived there until he relocated to Hobbs, NM in 1983 where he also met his wife. They married August 16, 1986, at First United Methodist in Hobbs, NM. He was employed at Daniels Insurance Inc. for 37 years, from May 8, 1989, until his passing.

As a young adult he was an avid softball player and coach for First United Methodist Church. He loved spending time at our family cabin in Hermit Lakes, Colorado. He enjoyed the mountains, fishing and hunting. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family in any way, shape, or form available.

Survivors include his wife, Dana Wilkinson, one son, Samuel Wilkinson, one daughter, Shelby Teeter, a son-in-law, Donald Teeter, and one grandchild, Logan Teeter.

He is preceded in death by, his parents, Richard Wilkinson and Mary Ann Miller-Wilkinson and his sister, Margey Wilkinson.
