Donna Bownds

Donna Mae Bownds, 74, passed away February 23, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. Donna was born August 16, 1947, in Amherst, Texas to Robert and Donna Faye Kelton.

Donna married Marvin, her husband of 48 years, on July 2, 1965. She enjoyed watching sports, painting, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Leann Jones (Bownds) of Mountain City, Texas; sons, Michael Bownds (wife Mendi Bownds) of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Stephen Bownds (wife Mindy Bownds), of Georgetown, Texas; three grandchildren, Jaecob Jones, Jenna Jones, and Stevie Bownds; brothers, Carrol Wayne Kelton and Aaron "Sonny" Kelton; and sisters, Sharon Tabor and Karen Kelton Westmoreland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Kelton and Donna Faye Kelton (Woodfin); and her husband, Marvin Bownds.
