Donna Pennington

A memorial service for Donna Pennington of Hobbs, N.M., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Russell Hill, VistaCare Hospice chaplain, officiating. Cremation will take place at a later date.

Ms. Pennington, 60, died Sept. 7,2007, at her home in Hobbs, N.M. She was born Dec. 10, 1946, in Palatka, Fla.

Donna was the owner of Donna's Draperies. She was an avid Hobbs Eagles basketball fan. Donna loved her family, friends and especially enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in all their activities.

Survivors include her mothshy;er, Rita M. Hummell of Hobbs, N.M.; two daughters, Johnna Clements and husband Billy of Midland, Texas, and Sue Ann Ferrell and husband Tim of Hobbs, N.M.; a brother, Charles R. Hummell of Odessa, Texas; and four grandshy;children, Alysha Mayfield, Lane Tyler Mayfield and Joshua Saltzman, all of Hobbs, N.M., and Abigail Clements of Midland, Texas.
