Doris Loraine Davis was born April 2,1931 to Nathan and Minnie Wise. She graduated from Lubbock High School in 1947. Doris married Bob Jack Davis on August 20, 1950. Doris and Bob enjoyed many hobbies and activities, they moved to Pampa Tx after Bob retired to raise Llamas with their good friends Charles and Jan Lockhart. Doris was active in the pink ladies, and she helped low-income families with their taxes until the age of 86. She was an avid bridge player and was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Hobbs. She was a young ninety-year-old until the time of her death. Her greatest gift and accomplishment was her family. She was known as grandmother to so many. She is survived by her sons Sam and wife Maxine of Midland and Mike of Hobbs and three grandchildren that she adored, Denise Davis, Nathan Davis, and Sara Davis. She also leaves behind five great grandchildren Stratton, Stryker, Grace, Gabby, and Kaylie, as well as 2 great-great-grandsons. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Bob Jack Davis, a sister Helen Yates, grandson Mike Naylor, and granddaughter Johana Davis.
Family request memorial contributions donated to First United Methodist Church of Hobbs in lieu of flowers.
