Doris Stewart

Doris Marie Stewart (nee Roberts), 89, entered this world November 2, 1928 in Steamboat Springs, CO to Elmer Ernest Roberts and Ava Pearl Roberts. She departed this world and entered her eternal rest July 23, 2018 in Midland, TX.

Doris met and married Olin Stewart, and together they had three children, Sherrin Stewart, Wayne Stewart, and Virginia (Ginger) Rohloff. Grandchildren include Jamie Dillman, Christopher Cowan, Clint Cowen, Michael Stewart, Kaitlin Stewart, and Misty Dosher, along with numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her son Wayne Stewart and wife Mary of Florida, daughter Ginger Rohloff and husband Gary of Hobbs, and one brother Jimmy Dee Roberts and wife Joan of Florida. Doris was preceded in death by both of her parents, three brothers Gene, Warren (Sonny), and Gerald Roberts, three sisters Movella Cutrell, Juanita O'Dell, and Eleanor Teague, and one daughter Sherrin Stewart.

Doris loved her God, her family, her Sunday School class at Belvue Baptist Church, and her precious dog Jezebel. Other interests during her life included oil, acrylic, and water color painting, flower arranging, and wig design.

The Stewart family would like to thank Hobbs Health Care, Lea Regional Hospital, and Midland Memorial Hospital for the loving and dignified care of their Mother and Grandmother. The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation to Doris' niece, Carol Ann Helton, for her continuous love and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Doris' memory to Belvue Baptist Church.
