Edna Finley

Edna Pearl “Chanley” Finley, age 102, of Hobbs, NM passed away on December 15, 2019.

She was born February 4, 1917 in Dennis, OK to her parents; Alice Alwida Chanley and Elmer Fredrick Chanley.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Mary Edith Creason, Thelma F. Hayes, and Lorena “Babe’ Hester; her brothers, Elmer Fredrick “Bob” Chanley, Jr., Thomas Jefferson Chanley, Theodore Chanley, Herold Chanley and her twin, Edwin Earl Chanley; her husbands, Kenneth Dantzer and George Finley.

She is survived by her niece Linda Brice and husband Ron of Midland, TX; nephews, Charles Chanley and wife Norma of Hobbs, NM, Rodney Chanley and wife Mary of Hobbs, and Ty Chanley of Eunice, NM and many other nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Desert Gardens and Kindred Hospice.
