Emily Irene Davis was born August 9, 1982 in Hobbs New Mexico. She came into this world feet first, six minutes after her twin sister Ashley Erin. She went to early grade school in Hobbs, but her family soon moved to Eunice where she would graduate in 2001. She attended New Mexico Junior College and graduated with an Associates of Arts degree shortly after.
The light in her life and all the love in her heart was for her baby girl Kyah. She loved her with all she had to give. Emily was blessed with a large a loving family. She married her best friend, Nathan Davis on June 5, 2010. Emily enjoyed working in food service and it suited her personality to a tee. She would light up a room, kept everyone laughing with her quick wit and dry humor, and was a true social butterfly! She easily made friends everywhere she went. Anyone that ever knew her loved her deeply.
She leaves behind her husband Nathan Davis of Hobbs, her daughter, Kyah Lewis of Hobbs. Parents Lisa Franklin (Art) of Hobbs, Guy Pearce (Susan) of Eunice. Her sister, Gentry Henry (Mike), nephews Braelon Jeter, Max and Jake Henry of Hobbs, her twin sister Ashley Cuellar (Brian), nephews Carter and Crew Cuellar of Midland. Brother-in-law Phillip (Hannah) Davis, children Emma, Cason and Watson Davis of Hobbs, sister-in-law Melanie (Kenny) Fulcher, nephews Calvin, Caden and Cale Fulcher. Emily was Aunt MiMi to these 10 nephews and one niece. She loved these kids!
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul Gentry and Mary Bauder, Bob and Daphana Pearce and her father-in-law, Kenny Davis. It gives us great comfort to lay her to rest next to her MeMaw and PaPaw in Eunice.
