Ernestina (Tina) Hernandez Velásquez, was born, May 5, 1924 in Monclova Coahuila México to Espiridion Martínez and Maria del Refugio Reta Martínez. She passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 in Hobbs, NM.
Our mother can be described as strong, devoted to her family and Christ-centered.
She is survived by her children; Mary Roman, Rosa Jones (James), Betty Lopez, Lino Hernandez, Jr. (Linda) and Tony Hernandez, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Ernestina was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Velasquez and granddaughter, Angela Lopez.
