Etta Seilhant

Mrs. Etta Faye Seilhant, 91, died Oct. 27, 2006, at Hobbs Health Care Center. She was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Blunt, Texas. She marshy;ried John L. Gunter on Dec. 26, 1936, in Fairfield, Texas. He died Sept. 21, 1961. She married her second husband, J.W Frenchie Seilhant on Nov. 16, 1964. He died Feb. 2, 1968.

Etta Faye was a member of the Assembly of God Church in McCamey, Texas. She enjoyed yard work, sitting on her patio watching the birds, especially hummingbirds, and crocheting. She was very involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives.

Survivors include two sons; Lonnie F. Gunter and wife Carol of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Tim A. Gunter and wife Sue of Hobbs, N.M.; daughter, Bessie May and husband Rocky of Hobbs, N.M.; five grandsons, John May of Andrews, Texas, Rick May and wife Gina of Andrews, Texas, Jerry Gunter of Oklahoma City, Okla., Ron Gunter of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Greg Gunter of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two great-grandsons; Jamie R. May of Lewisville, Texas, and Jett T.Gunter of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two brothers; WF. Dub Moore and wife Pat of Corinth, Texas, Daniel H. Moore arid wife Sue of Lompoc, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Etta Faye was preceded in death by her two husbands and two sons, Jerry Neal Gunter and John Wiley Gunter.
