Evah Gonzalez

Graveside services for Evah Marie Gonzalez of Hobbs, N.M., will be held 3 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park with Pastor Dean Shropshire officiating.

Visitation is 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. today and 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Evah, 3 months, 27 days old, died July 21,2008. She was born March 24, 2008, in Hobbs, N.M. Survivors include her father, Robert Gonzalez of Hobbs, N.M.; her mother, Janie Lara of Hobbs, NM.; a brother, Alex Gonzalez of Tucumcari, N.M.; three sisters, Cara Smith of Tucumcari, N.M., Emily Gonzalez of Hobbs, N.M., and Jazmine Gonzalez of Hobbs, N.M.; a maternal grandfather, Luis Lara and wife Yolanda of Hobbs, N.M.; a maternal grandmother, Wanda Henson and husband Clifford of Hobbs, N.M.; a paternal grandfather, Jose Luis Gonzalez of Mexico; a paternal grandmother, Rose Gonzalez of Hobbs, N.M.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Evah was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Jim and Hazel Horseman, Luis and Juliana Rodriquez and Sara and Luther Lara; and a cousin, Adrian Gonzalez.
