Frances D. Smith

Frances D. Smith, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and special aunt was born May 23, 1943, in Winnsboro, LA, to Frank and Eva Baird.  She passed away peacefully on November 29, 2023, in Hobbs, NM. 

She worked at Tootie’s Supermarket for several years.  She attended school in Hobbs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Georgia Powell and her brother Bruce Baird.  She is survived by her husband Gentry Smith of the home, two sons, Tim McGlothlin of Hobbs and Wayne McGlothlin and wife Jill of Houston, TX, sister Polly Owens of Hobbs, her grandkids Toby McGlothlin of Washington, Amanda Martinez of Temple, TX and Heather Bubb of Forney, TX, one great-great-grandson, several nephews, nieces and great-great nephews and nieces.
