Frances Shaver

Frances Shaver of Sugar Land, Texas passed away Tuesday May 11, 2021.

She was born March 15, 1932 to John and Elza (Purcella) Johnson in Portales, NM and raised in Roswell, NM.  Frances graduated from Roswell High School in 1951.

Prior to moving to the Houston area 10 years ago, Frances lived in Odessa and Andrews, Tx and Clovis and Farmington, NM.  She was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Frances was preceded in death by her infant son, Scott Warren Shaver, her parents, husband Leroy Shaver, brother John Johnson, and sister Ruth Hamill. She is survived by sister Opal Butts of Roswell, NM, sons Steve Shaver of Houston, Tx, Stan Shaver and wife Becky (Criner) of Hobbs, NM; (4) grandchildren Shalina Pope and husband Daniel, Suzi Souter and husband Zach, Jared Shaver, and Alex Shaver; (2) great-grandchildren, Hannah Souter and Jackson Souter.
