Chop Armstrong, 73 of Hobbs, NM, departed this life on December 26, 2011, at his home. He was born on February 28, 1938, in Marlin, TX, to the late Rev. P.E. and Lue Erma Armstrong.
Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00PM Tuesday January 3, 2012 at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation for Mr. Armstrong will be Monday, January 2, 2012, from 11:00AM to 6:00PM and Tuesday January 3, 2012, 8:00AM to 11:30AM. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife Elouise Armstrong one sister, Pearl Smith, of DeSoto, TX his children, Carol Armstrong of Hobbs, NM, Pete Charlene Armstrong of Edmond, OK, Dennis Rene Armstrong of Lexington Park, MD, Juanita John Sessions of Hobbs, NM, and Lorenzo Pleasant of Hobbs, NM.
