Fransica Nickles Chacon was born September 17th, 1942, in Candelaria, TX. Fransica married Manuel Chacon Sr. December 4th, 1962, in Carlsbad, NM. During their long, loving marriage they had four children. Fransica was a devoted Catholic, constantly praying for family and friends. Her hobbies included sewing, playing BINGO, gardening and spending quality time with family. Her favorite sayings were "Cheater, Cheater, Pumpkin Eater!" and "Si No Sirves, No Estorbes." Fransica was loving with a quick wit and was always dressed to impress. Wearing her traditional Mexican dress, her hair curled, and her fingernails painted.
Surviving Fransica, her loving husband of 61 years Manuel Chacon Sr., her children Frances Jeffrey of Midland, TX, Soledad, Fidencio, and Manuel Jr. of Hobbs, NM, five grandchildren Andrew and Bayli Chacon of Hobbs NM, Phillip Chacon of San Angelo, TX, Jacob Chacon of Cincinnati, OH, and KC Jeffrey of Killeen, TX, seven great-grandchildren Mason, Sophie, Audrie, Zechariah of Hobbs, NM, and Ezra, Riley, and Philp of San Angelo, TX, her siblings Angelica Marquez, Johnny Nickels, Pete Nickles of Lovington, NM, and Becky Garcia of Hobbs, NM. Preceding her in death, her parents Alberto Nickles and Alejandra Garcia, her brothers Mike Nickles, Albino Nickles, Anatilio Nickles, Alberto Nickles, and her sisters Lonny Isquera, Mercy Elliot.
Anyone who knew Fransica knew she had a vibrant soul, to commemorate her we ask that you please wear bright colors and no black. Please bring your umbrellas for shade at the cemetery.
