George Coulter

Mr. George Coulter, 85, died March 21, 2007 in Hobbs. He was born Dec. 26, 1921 in Southland, Texas.
George was a longtime Hobbs resident for over 50 years. He fought in Sipan and received the Purple Heart award in the Marines. George was well known for his artwork and inspired many family memshy;bers to pursue the art field.
Survivors include a sister, Katherine Phillips of Carson, Calif.; two nephews, Terrell Thomas of Levelland, Texas, and Jimmy Tucker of Midland, Texas; a niece, Jean Romersheuser of Carson, Calif.; and numerous greatshy;-nieces and nephews and many great friends.
