Harold Welch

Graveside services for Harold K. Welch, 86, of Hobbs, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Elio Barrios presiding. Harold died November 15, 2011, at a local nursing home. He was born September 17, 1925, in Holdenville, OK, to Asa and Ella Welch.

Harold served his country in the Navy Air Corps. He came to Hobbs in 1960 and worked for Dresser Engineering for 30 years and retired from Dresser in 1985. Harold enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He is survived by a daughter, Patti Robbins, and husband Ed, of Hobbs a son, Gary Welch, and wife Rhonda, of Logan, NM 4 grandsons and 6 greatgrandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Herman Welch.
