Helen Busby -Johnson

Helen I. Busby Johnson, 85, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 5, 2021. Helen was born to Ralph and Eunice Loflin in Ellis, KS. Helen is survived by her husband, Billie Johnson, two sons, George Busby, Jr., of Point Blank, TX, and Rodney Busby, Lubbock, TX; and one daughter Roselyn (Rose) McCamey of Albuquerque, NM. Helen had five grand children and nine great grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, George Busby, Sr., parents Ralph and Eunice Loflin, and sisters Margaret Mickelson and Eileen Covey.

Helen was a hairdresser at a local long-term care facility, loved working in her yard, an avid sports fans, and probably the biggest supporter of the Hobbs Eagles, regardless of the sport. She was a feisty woman and a force to be reckoned with.

A memorial service is being planned in the near future allowing more family members to attend.
