Helen Singleton

Helen R. Singleton passed away Friday, March 19, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born June 10, 1935 in Abbott, Texas to Lillie and Joe Gamble. The family moved to Hobbs, New Mexico November 17, 1952.

She was a faithful member of Little Zion Baptist Church.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents Lillie and Joe Gamble, son James Singleton, daughter Mildred Clay, two brothers Robert Gamble, James Scott and a sister Levator Booker, grandson Kenny Parks, niece Phylis Toler and nephew Dynami McCree.

She is survived by her 4 children, Larry Singleton, Danny Singleton, Brenda Singleton, Victor Singleton and son-in law Donald Clay.
She has 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
